Borrowing one from another EVO @ the track could also be an option.... I'd swap it with you if you do events in the tri-state area.

Any plans to work on an EvoX ACD/S-AWC reflash?

What about a car that you drift? What would be the best setup for that and would it help lock up the stock Diff.

These units are not designed for sliding the car around but it is a natural tendency of these flashes for the cars rear to want to step out.

I know you said it doesn't really affect straight line ability, nor am I interested in this part for that purpose but:
I could kind of see this part allow more wheel power to be put down to the ground, or at least slightly quicker if you just step on it - or am I looking at this incorrectly?

Also, I'm not quite sure I understand how tuning the ACD does something like decrease the car's tendency to understeer - ACD controls the locking between front and rear wheels, so increasing the locking and speed of lock up does.. what exactly?

Is it that the increase in lock up is actually transferring more torque or useable torque to the rear wheels?

Hopefully other people had the exact same question and just didn't want to ask.... lol

Also, given that the new RA has the same awd system - will this reflash work for them as well?

More review notes:

I drove the car tonight to a local EVO meet and noticed that the car feels more like a rear wheel drive vehicle... especially thru the turns. I do notice that the car is easier to rotate, and once you take that turn, point the steering wheel in the dirrection you want to go and shoot.

I would love to go to an open parking lot or to a local airfield and push the car harder and see how it reacts..

Yes please someone explain this in terms that I can easily understand. I've been to the track(MSR) once and did notice at max grip the front wheels seem to lose traction first. How does this flash work?

How ACD works: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...everybody.html

If you understand that, you will understand what this mod does. Hope it helps.
