Girodisc Introductory Offer On Our Brand New Line of Pads, the Girodisc S/S Pads!!

This has been a long time coming but after a grueling summer of testing Girodisc is proud to announce the release of our brand new intermediate pad called the S/S pads for street/strip. These pads feature a hotter compound than our standard Magic pads and are capable of maintaining braking efficiency up to 1000 degrees. Inevitably these will dust a little more than our Magic pads and can make a little noise from time to time however with our anti noise backing plates which all pads will come with we have heard very little to no noise from these pads.

Comparatively the Girodisc S/S pads perform very similarly to the Ferodo DS2500's, a pad which we have had really good luck with.

So here's the deal we want to get as many of these pads out there to you all so we can get some unbiased real world testing. We're relying on all of you to beat on these pads and make sure they meet your needs. Similar to the release of our Magic Pads we are offering these at lab rat pricing of just of just $150!!! for a complete car set for any generation Evo. Now here's the catch, you must post a review of the pads whether it be in this thread or a new thread of your own. We want to make sure these pads are exactly what ourselves and our customers are looking for in a high performance street pad that can take some abuse on the track as well. P/M or call us to pick up a set.

A few pics for your viewing pleasure.

That is correct, they all share the same front pads but the rears are different between the 8/9 and X. We have both so just make sure you specify if you order a set.

Do these chew up rotors when cold like some of the more agressive pads?

Not at all, these are not all out track pads. Initial testing shows them wearing rotors very similarly to our Magic Pads although I'm sure its ever so slightly more.

Its pretty tough to quantify aggressiveness of pads but I tell you what we'll offer these pads to anyone who currently has Magic Pads for just $100! That way you guys can tell us how much more aggressive they are.
