Product Description

Hotchkis Tuning Sport Sway bars improve your handling and reduce body roll. Turn in with confidence and late brake in the corners with our track tested lightweight hollow sway bar. During track testing we found that due to the excessive amounts of understeer on the Evo 8, we needed to compensate with a stiffer rear bar. Rear bar includes greasable bushings and brackets. Rear 15/16" (24 mm) Hollow 3 Position Rear +10%, +27%, +47%

Fits: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII 03-05

mine just came in today and installed it right away only 1 problem:when the instruction says jack you car up just follow it since my jack's been acting up i decided to use my ramp which i thought it was okay till i got to the part of taking off the camber alignment bolt on the arm so i had to roll my car off the jack and painstakingly pumping up my jack.

overall install was a breeze but now i gotta wait for my springs first before i get it all aligned and dialed in.

Mine broke after 3 months. I think it isn't strong enough.

after 2 auto-x it just decided to bend and break.

and yes, it's installed correctly.

One of the bends near the exhaust broke. I emailed them, the hotchkis told me they would send the replacement.

i got the message on monday june 27th. it's taking a while to get to me.

i was thinking 3 day but i guess it's gonna take longer.

hotchkis is a great bar. but i think i wanna try the solid bar from whiteline now.

Thats the first i have ever heard of a hotchkis bar breaking. We sell a ton of their stuff and never heard of them crack or bend or break. must have been a flaw in the material.

i think they were all referring to the brackets that came with it.if its no installed correctly it does have a tendency to brake.since you have to reuse the middle u of the stock brackets with the new brackets.mostly happened with the older brackets since they were kinda thinner and the newer ones are kinda thicker.
