1981
The first AME wheel emerged into the Japanese market with the launch of the Model 981 light alloy wheel. AME also began producing products other than wheels such as mufflers, on board computers and turbo chargers for participation in the Honda One Make races. The following year AME became an aggressive participant in the F3 and Trial races.

1983
The AME Windmuhle made its debut in the Japanese market and became an immediate hit with the high end enthusiasts and established the AME wheel brand in the aftermarket.

1986
With the launch of the Maystorm, AME revolutionized the wheel aftermarket by developing the first ever set of wheels and tires specially designed together to maximize on road performance.

1990
AME launches the super light series of CD-R wheels which is the beginnings of the Tracer and Circlar Series of wheels.

1992
The AME Luxury Line is introduced with the original design of the Modelart. The Modelart design became very popular and was also distributed in the US by Enkei International.

1993
The AME Euro Line makes its debut with the Sporsh wheel series which eventually becomes the Shallen series.. The Sporsh quickly becomes a high profile product for AME.

1994
The Circlar R Style becomes an enormous hit within the Street Sports wheel market which contributed to the development of the overall AME sports line with the introduction of the Circlar GTA in 1998.

1997
The beginnings of the Luxury line came with the world��s first ever 20 inch 3 piece wheels, The.AME Modelart Excellent and the Nobley Final created an immediate sensation within the wheel industry. The Gestalt Virouge was added to the line ands were shipped to distributors in Europe, Australia Hong Kong and the US.

1999
AME jointly developed the AME Tracer TSSC with Enkei Japan which introduced the lightest cast wheels in the industry including forged wheels.

2000
With the introduction of the Modelart Prider to the AME Luxury line, AME developed size and specifications for high end US and European vehicles to match the growing demand for their products overseas.

2002
The AME Euro line was further expanded with the introduction of the Shallen series. The Shallen line is made up of the Shallen Original, CX and AX which had an enormous impact on the Japanese Luxury wheel industry.

2005
AME is focusing on globalizing the brand and making the products available to enthusiasts around the world

The Circlar Spec R represents Japanese Sports wheel style. The metallic look of the deep machined center. The deep lip of the spoke ends. This 2 piece wheel is composed of a highly reflective base material for the rim and the disk utilizes REAMER Technology (Visual design of Front and Back of disk to increase visual XXX) that allows for quick cooling of the brake caliper. The wheels are specially designed so the Front can allow large caliper fitments and the rear has a taper design to maintain the soul of the sports wheel.
