Actually, that surprised me too. When we were introduced to the wheel, we were told that it would be heavier than the CE28N but not as heavy as the TE37. We knew the CE was the lightest wheel in the Rays lineup.

And now we see that there is only a .15lb difference is weight. IMO, you'd be a fool not to take the extra 30% in strength for the .15lb weight difference!

As soon as we get the 17's, we will definitely update our post and make a weight comparison between a similar size CE and maybe TE.

Unless you're talking about pure asthetics (and price, of course), the RE30 is the way to go.

The CE still looks hot on the Evo tho...

Holy moly, I had no idea those wheels were that light. The saleen replicas I have must weigh twice that much in 18x9/10. Definitely gonna look into some Volks for my stang in the future. Do they make a 5 spoke (GT-V, GT-AV) in +24 offset? I think its the same fitment as a G35 or 350Z.

They certainly do make the GTV and GT-AV that would fit your Mustang. And actually, you're pretty spot on about the fitment. Z fitment would work all day.

You can go 18x9.5 +22 in the front and 18x10.5 +22 in the rear (+ or - a few mm on the offset).

On a stang though, I would go TE37s all the way

PM me if you're interested and we can work something out

Sounds awesome man. Unless I get a super raise over winter break, I probably won't be getting any wheels soon, but I know exactly where to go when I get the money for em. Thanks a ton.

You have PM! The 17" fitments have not been released yet. However, we do have a BUNCH of 17x9's coming in a variety of colors. As soon as they are available, we'll be able to get em first!

I'm working on that today and they should be up by later this afternoon or early evening

I feel your pain though....mercury silver and gunmetal are both REALLY REALLY nice. Good luck

Francis,

I just got my Titanium Silver 18x9 +35 CE28N's from the Fedex guy today, and they look AWESOME! I already unpackaged one and gawked at it in the living room --- and I tell you, it's perfect. Thanks again for an awesome deal, and fast shipping!

May you live to be a thousand years old, sir!
