Isn't the car suppossed to be driven hard in certain gears once you get it?

You don't need to keep it below 3-4k rpms the first thousand miles; your suppossed to drive it hard in 2+3 gear I think.

Yeah, way to "break it in". It'll be completely broken before its broken in. Then you'll have the new special edition voided warrantee.

eh, the breakin thing is subjective. everyone says to do it differently. Some people say to baby the hell out of it, not much boost, not over 4k or 60mph for 1k miles.....some people say strap it to the dyno and let her rip, the rings will seal better......its like magazine's 1/4 mile times....they are all different.

I love that color! BTW is that a wheel weight on the outside of the rim? If so... I don't know why they don't have the stick on ones inside the rim!

driving the car hard will not hurt anything in the car....... that is a stupid old lie. The only thing that may be hurt is something after 100k miles..

Built and broken in many race motors. They are all different. The evo can certainly handle some foot once. He wasnt flogging it and it was just a rolling start around the block. I would have gotten on him for dropping clutches
