Tinted windows

 

Apex Silver with black 20 all the way around... got to make shade in Texas...

 

I like my tinted windows on BBY. 35%, looks subtly darker, and it helps with the sun in summer time. It's also legal, so no worries.

 

whats really funny about him saying roll them down when ur getting pulled over it works becuase the law here at least i dont know about everywhere else but i herd it was like all the same is that the 2 fronts have to be the legal limit and the rears can b darker..... thats how it is here so all i had to do was roll down my front ones and i was fine. when i got mine done it was rated at 5% its basically spray painted black i love it! lol

You guys are nuts. Tinted windows look great on any car, any color.

Out here in Nevada, tint is legal on all windows except front windshield and almost everyone has it with such hot summers. It's almost standard from the dealer nowadays or put on immediately right after the car is purchased. I had mine done from day 2 of ownership.

Tint looks stupid on just the back 3 windows. If you do it, it has to be all doors and back.

Plus I love the privacy. It's like a limo even in the day. Car stays way cooler in the summer. The A/C really works better.

 

I got 20% in the rear and 50% up front. You can barely tell the front is tinted by looking at it from the outside. 50% is very light, but it does reduce glare a tad and light enough to keep the cops off of your back.

LOL, I agree, I cant stand a car without tinted windows. That is always the first thing I do when I get a new car. I have 5% on my back 3 windows and 35% on my front side windows. At night even the front windows are hard to see through, but during the day you can easily see inside. I could see not doing tint if it had a custom interior and you wanted to show it off.



How can you say tint doesnt look good on Yellow I think its look sweet as it does with any color.

 

I love the way tinted windows look but only black I'm not into the colored or mirror tint at all.

 

How about a pic of a white evo with tint? I never had tint on any of my cars but I want some on my evo. (newbie "?") The lower the %, the darker it is? Judging by Evil Evo's yellow evo.

 

I have 35% all around, which is legal around here. It looks pretty good on black but I wish it could have been darker. I really don't need the extra attention from the popo's.

I'll say limo really helps here in South Florida where we don't have a winter.

I agree, no tint in the summer sux...You have to remember some of the states out west get to 100-110+ on a regular basis. Just getting in the car after its been sitting in the sun all day sux, tint actually does help a bit, of course its gonna be hot, but not as bad if it wasnt tinted at all.
