best one i have seen was to use a mini battery.. then mount it sideways on the open area of the battery tray.

Ummmm no. The best would be to buy the real damn thing like a Cusco/Sard/Greddy. They are big enough to actually hold oil, and look better than this **** your posting. Stop being cheap *** bastards and treat your cars right with some real products. Damn ricers.

I know. Im sorry but if your gonna do something, do it right or dont do it at all. You have a 30k car and your too friggin cheap to spend $80 on a catch can to preserve the life of your car? Come on guys.

i agree with your point, but not your delivery.

i think people should do what they want and let the quality of their design & work tell the story.

if you want a funky little filter in there, go for it - but you're severely restricting the flow of crankcase fumes, trapping the junk in your oil.

if you vent it to atmosphere with a proper size hose and a small K&N you'll accomplish half the job, but it's still the best to use a catch can because it can hold manifold vacuum and be as effective as the stock PCV system - yet keep oil out of the intake system.

another side benefit is that you can see how much oil you're blowing - a potential diagnosis tool.
