Looks like they polished that hood with sandpaper...

Sparco/Apex should be ashamed for bringing that into a show in that condition :hammer:

 

Um, that's a dry-carbon hood, made of the type of carbon fiber fornula one cars use. It's not shiny because they don't use as much resin to harden it. The carbon fiber you see at shows on civics and other cars do it just for show, and they don't lose much weight becuase the hood still needs an ubderframe like any stock hood. You should be ashamed for not knowing that the owner of the Sparco/Apex evo only puts thing on his car that are functional.

 

Anyone know what size and offset those are?? They dont look like the typical 18"x8.5" thats offered for our cars. Those look like they have a deeper lip.

 

That hood is like $2,500 and is the only carbon hood on the market that is DOT certified with crumple points for crash-worthiness.

not custom... but the lip is a bit deeper than mine were...

 

they only have them in silver or bronze

 

they do come in gunmetal but it's a special order item...

they are not custom, but still a special order...
