I miss my Honda... I almost completed a very similar setup as the Si in the video, but I ended up selling it all and I put big wheels and tires and a lift kit on my turbo diesel. -Chad-
Wait till you see the next video from Fernandos Integra GSR. He puts down even more with the 3 bar map sensor. His car is insane. CFT is right next to titanmotorsports.com(aka evostore.com) these guys know the microtech and fernando's teg put's down a lot more than the 501 he did at 21psi. Not to mention he runs a 11.03 with the tires spinning most of the way.

Its pretty archiac compared to the ecu by far.....if you want standalone get the FCON or AEM....dont waste your time on the microtech but Im not fond of standalone....unless your going with a really big turbo

I disagree on cold start... I've never had an issue with my vehicle... yes with poor tunes... but not the fault of the system...
The knock sensor on most stock vehicles is just shy of a joke... and relying on that is relatively foolish. If you are really concerend about knock get a JandS safeguard and you'll have more power over knock than any stock ECU is capable of...
also, keep in mind that the newer Microtech's run much better processors and can be configured to a LOT of resolutions, some over 64x64. Also, it has very powerful bezier curve fitting used... Also, the tune is a HUGE factor in the performance of the vehicle. So it doesn't matter what the EMS is, if it is tuned poorly it'll perform like crap regardless...
Not to mention not having a true custom map specifically for a car based on the dyno is even more archaic (think superchip or the like) and all that much more likely to create even less power.
As far as tuning potentional there is little difference between the modern Microtech's and the AEM's in many ways. The AEM's carry a more advanced feature pack for certain things, but the overall timing and fuel and adjustment factors that are critical to the tuning of the motor have very little difference.. Not to mention that you can fit a Microtech to a car for about 1500 or less and many AEM packages for many cars are in excess of 2000 with little overall advantage.
