hmm not that impressive with his mods....and I microtech?? sheesh dude thats like downgrading from the evo hardware. Sounds nice nonetheless

y is it downgrading .the owner keep telling me that i should get microtech not that i will .

Very crazy numbers on that civic! That evo might not have some impressive mods but its still up in the 400whp range.

MICROTECH is not bad, my old car had it...but you cant even compare it to the resolution of the evo ecu, especially if you tune it in matrix mode. You also lose knock sensor and you can forget about coldstart......if you live in TX, FL or CA your fine but if it gets under 50 degrees the provisions in the crank map are limited...prepare to swap drenched plugs often.

Its pretty archiac compared to the ecu by far.....if you want standalone get the FCON or AEM....dont waste your time on the microtech but Im not fond of standalone....unless your going with a really big turbo

no prob man, I just dont want anyone to downgrade from what they have...your car will not feel refined anymore with that thing in it.....if you had a rotary I would say go all for the microtech

the shops owner rolando lopez is a good friend of mine that was on pump gas.i was going to put a haltech in my car and he came up to do the tunning he is an awesome tuner.he knows his way around a microtech and a haltech like no one i have ever seen.
