Gauge Face vs. Gauge Overlay
Gauge Face vs. Gauge Overlay
To those whom have had their gauge clusters out, how difficult would you judge it to be to replace the gauge faces? I found a place online that sells new gauge faces to replace the existing ones. These are not overlays that sit on top of the existing faces.
Like many (most?), I'm not very satisfied with the stock gauges, esp. in the daytime. I've seen some EL overlays on eBay and 'round the web, but don't want to hassle with the wiring/inverter etc.
Really, new faces with more visible numbers is all I want, but I'm not about to spend $75 only to find out replacing the faces is a nightmare. Thanks to all.

I realize I'm going to spend the money anyway. I'm trying to get some input on how easy it would be to replace the faces vs. going to overlays. If it's not to difficult, I would prefer new faces with the stock backlighting.
