while there are only two 12mm bolts that actually holds the actuator to the tubo compressor housing, you'll need to take off the lower turbo heat sheild in order to get to the cotter pin that keeps the end of the actuator rod on the flapper. That my friends, is the challenge.

Our particular actuator can use 1 of 4 different springs to allow for separate ranges of boost pressure, but each spring can be individually adjusted by turning the turnbuckle at the end of the actuator rod in towards the body of the actuator forcing there to be tension on the actuator spring to connect the arm to the wastegate lever/flapper.

By doing so, you will notice incremental increases in the boost output of the car.

(Only 2 of the 4 springs are most appropriate for the Evo application.)

The base spring for the Evo Actuator has an adjustment range of 14-18 PSI and the second level spring has an adjustment range of 19-24 PSI.

The actuators are built with the lower of the two springs and the second is not included. They are only available separately for $16 each.

We can, however, build the actuators to order with any spring you would like.

***Please note, these actuators will not increase the boost output of the car when the stock boost control solenoid is used.

The factory solenoid which is controlled by the ECU will just bleed off any additional amount of pressure you are trying to make.

This product is only useful when using an aftermarket mechanical or electronic manual boost controller or no boost controller at all.***

I think I have 3 or 4 in stock right now, with another 5-10 on order.
