Best mod yet!

Yeah, everyone says that the interior of the evo is sub-par.. but the one thing I have always hated the most is something it actually shares in common with several high end cars (all Mercedes, for example). See my modified pics below and try to spot the difference.

Answer

I painted the hazard switch a satin black. I couldn't stomach that aweful red plastic color. Why did it have to be so huge and ugly?

If anyone wants to repeat it, all I did was make a perfect triangle with masking tape (to cover the symbol) using an exacto knife. Then I pianted it using some exterior grade black trim paint. The color match is very good, plus the switch still lights up at night.

i believe the true question is... how much horsepower can we expect from this? i'm assuming that there will be less drivetrain loss when you have the hazard lights on, but i forgot the formula. and does a grounding kit in conjunction with this mod increase the boost applied when the hazard lights are on? speedy reply would be appreciated as i'm looking to shave a couple seconds off of my 1/4 mile time.

It's just spray paint. I can look when I get home and see the exact brand I used. I'll post later.

Similar to how your EVO is clearly much faster after a good wax job, this mod definitely dropped my quarter mile times significantly.
