APR Splitter...mounting hardware upgrade suggestions?

I searched through and found a few threads on this, but didn't really see what I was looking for. I'm thinking about getting the APR carbon fiber splitter, but I was looking at some install pics and it looks like (and from what I read, sounds like) that some of the mounting hardware might need to be upgraded. Can anyone tell me what would need to be beefed up to make sure this thing doesn't fly off?

EDIT...talking about the undertray splitter...not the canards.

When I had it on my car I bought much larger washers for all of the bolts to distribute the force more evenly. Larger washers for all of the bolts that connected to the splitter, including the hanger bolts. I then measured and drilled holes in the splitter to line up with the 3 holes on the bottom front of the stock intercooler and used long bolts with lock nuts and large washers to further prevent the splitter from being pulled down and flying off. It might have been somewhat time consuming, especially connecting to the intercooler part, but it felt really sturdy. Other ideas could be to buy small bolts and nuts to better secure the stock lip the the bumper, since the splitter attaches to the lip (but you would be left behind with a row of bolt heads showing along the front of the lip). You could also drill holes in the splitter to line up to the 2 holes in the front bottom of the plastic fenderwell pieces on either side (they're used in the stock undertray, but not the splitter), and long bolts with nuts like the intercooler. The easiest thing and fastest thing to do would be to buy the largest fender washers from Home Depot that fit the bolts for the splitter and use them on the underside instead of the smaller ones APR includes.

I have the APR splitter and was actually kinda scared of daily driving with it after reading some peoples comments.

But once i got it and installed it, it fit like a charm. The hardware that it comes with is real sturdy. Of course you can go the extra step like syrihl did, better safe than sorry right? But you shouldn't need to. After installing mines, i went driving around for a while just to test it, and i hit 150mph for a good minute (uphill/downhill/straight/slight curve) and it held up just perfect.

I'm happy with it
