see now it's no surprise that the 17x9.5 +22 fit the evo. it's sticking out a lot but depending on what tire you run you could still be ok. good luck with 275s, won't happen, 285, not a chance, big slicks, nope.
but if you're really still interested in the fender pulling or the fender flaring (massive roll) then you'll be pleased to know that they weigh like 16-17 pounds for 17" and 17-18 in 18". as far as wide *** 18s go... they're incredibly light. so are the cpo35r's (same range), and of course those come in whatever size that actually fits.
you should see no flexing.

yeah, I'd had a little too much to drink when I posted that, my reading comprehension wasn't so great. I see now, in the other pics especially, that the tire is pulled way too far. the entire bead area of the rim is exposed. +22 would be better. but still, that would be a badass look to have on the street.

it'd be cool to have this if you flared the rear fenders with a roller... the fronts should be fine without pulling. if you wanna run 275s +22 with the same recipe will get your plenty of stick.
i do like the look, but i like more tire, then the bead of the rim sticks out like that... makes me queezy thinking about parallel parking.

CP-035's are available in various widths and offsets...sorry for the vaguery there, I'm not a wheel salesman.
The CP-035r's are available in custom widths/offsets and look like silencer's wheels. You don't have to go direct to Racing Hart, either. Dazz is the US distributor for them. http://www.dazzmotorsports.com/wheels_rac.asp

NOPE NO Rubbing, anymore. There was a plastic washer on the bumper, which is now gone. so no rubbing. But I do suggest doing +22's for anyone that doesnt want to pull and want to put at least 245's on. I can easily put 245's on but i'd then have to pull the lip (ie Varis Evo 8, look at how the rear fender is lipped out). And I did order for myself a set of +22 rears that way both cars can share the TE love. For the +22's in front, you can run 245s, just offset it a lil with more camber. theres a ton of room up there.
Cost for each TE is $790 for 18x9.5 / $830 for 18x10.5 (I paid half, thanks to my wonderful sponsor, Mackin / Rays Engineering)
