CE28N 18x9.5 what would the best offset be ? What's the lowest offset I can go with those wheels ? Front + Rear w/o rubbing ?
I think 9.5 is as far as anyone has went. For the offset check on page 3 your answer is somewhere on that page.

joe'sevo(or something like that) has went with a 17/18x10 a half inch too big for me. 9/9.5 is big enough

what kind of suspension is everyone running with the 18 x 9 or 18 x 9.5? would stock suspension make it rediciously high? also, if i were to get the 18 x 9.5, would i need different offsets for the front and rear or would +30 offset be sufficient?

sorry, but i have another question,
so if i get 18 x 9.5 and the offset would be somewhere around +28-34 (+22 wont clear?), would i be able to run +22 offset on a 18 x 9 without rubbing?

thanks alot guys this thread has helped me very much

I have 18x8.5 Volk TE37s with a 32mm offset or something around there. Im using Hotchkis Springs.

The previous owner the car said he has 245s on there and they rubbed so he put on 235/40/18 tires and they are fine. How is it that all you guys can run 255s and such (and are 255s too much for 8.5 with my offset?

Just so everyone knows, the FNO1R-C wheel that 5zigen makes only dishes like lilevos in a 9.5 and 10inch wide size. If you get a 9 or smaller width you get the flat spoke. I'd like to see the 18x9.5 in a 30mm or 25mm offset though. THAT would be flush!

lil evo, bad *** car man, i used to have the same rims on my wrx, 18x8.5.........that was the widest i could have gone, but just to let everyone know, the 5zigens look meaner and meaner if you go wider, the differance between the 8inch, and 9.5 changes the entire look of the rim. have you guys seen the fnor1-c's on any 240sx's? if they have a 10 inch rear they look CRAZY

Let me see if I have this correct. 18x9.5 with 35mm offset (both front and rear), running 285/30/18 will fit with fender lip cut at the rear (factory ride height)?

bringin' back an old one,eh.

you may have to rolled and pull the fender a little to fit a 285 series tire.
Cutting is a little more complicated because the rear fender carries a dual wall flange with an adhesive in between. Not impossible, just more difficult. And be sure to have that touch up paint at the ready!

I got 18x9" wheels with a +31 offset and when I cut the wheel ALL the way, i guess the inner side of the tire rubs against the inner fender.

I'm using 245/40/18 tires, however I wanna move upto 255/40/18 tires or even 255/45/18 tires, because the roads here are crappy and u can feel EVERYTHING.
you cannot run 255 40 18 or 255 45 18 you will rip your liners out. it's just too large even larger than the 275 40 17 which is the largest i'd say anyone can go.

Nice! Are those 255's or 265's? Any rubbing or rolling of fenders required with your drop ? Also, can we get more pics from far back
