Cleaning Brake Calipers...

So I took the wheels off to wash and wax them and decided to clean the calipers. I remembered a thing about the paint fading and peeling because of harsh cleaners being used, so I just used a towel and a TAD bit of water. Whatcha think...

Pretty sure harsh cleaners aren't needed...

man, that sucks. i've cleaned them with a buncha different stuff before, but its not needed. just hard to get in there and rub each spot without the wheels off. shoulda waxed them too, because now the brake dust on the wheels comes off SO easily. little presoak at the spray and wash, then high pressure rinse and its GONE. wax is great

Use a toothbrush and one of those brushes for cleaning dishes. They're not harsh enough to scratch the paint. WOrks wonders on wheels too.
