haven't checked, but in doing installs in plenty of other cars...there has to be a hole you can use without drilling a hole. I guess it doesn't hurt anything, but I just hate the idea of doing it.

There's a grommet on the passenger side. That made things pretty easy for me.

you can also feed it into the drivers side front fender (up by the air intake) over top of the fender well and down behind the fuse box there is a grommet to follow into the cab. This is a bigger hole if your looking to run large gauge wire.

I fit a 4 gauge wire with grommet through a drilled hole above the pedals. It was real easy and took about 30 seconds to make the hole. It is sealed tight with the grommet. You can use the hole in the passangers side too. Its behind the glovebox to the upper right. You can see it from under the hood also.

If your running 8 gauge easiest to go through the pass side grommet, but you'll waste some wire. If your looking to end up with it on the drivers side of the car and want the shortest possible route, use the inner fender method. I'm sorry, I do not have any pics of routing the wire, just after install pics none showing where the wore enters the fenderwell. Sorry.
