I had a local place powder coat them 90% gloss black, came out awesome. A lot stronger than paint. Thanks for the compliments.

Very nice. I was looking into p/c my stock wheels, when i came across some information that if not properly heat treated, the wheels may tend to crack and fail. There was a pic in this thread of a C5 wheel that was not properly done (heat treated) that shyed me away from the P/C procedure.

I am not trying to scare you. I feel that our cars can handle the stress even if a powdercoating shop uses less than par equipment. The reason why is that a C5 (for arguements sake) puts down 300 at the rear wheels. This translates to 150 per rear wheel. Since an EVO is awd, you would have to put down 600 at the wheels (150 for each wheel) to see this type of an issue.

But hey.... the evo looks damn good

Yeah I was worried about the same thing, but I used the same guy a fellow evo owner used. He of course was the guinea pig, had his done for a over year no issues. I hear you though. Thanks for the props.

Love the red and black theme! I have the same theme going on. Maybe consider blacking your side markers.

I like it. The red and black are a good contrast. Nice rims too!
