I was looking into p/c my stock wheels, when i came across some information that if not properly heat treated, the wheels may tend to crack and fail. There was a pic in this thread of a C5 wheel that was not properly done (heat treated) that shyed me away from the P/C procedure.

I am not trying to scare you. I feel that our cars can handle the stress even if a powdercoating shop uses less than par equipment. The reason why is that a C5 (for arguements sake) puts down 300 at the rear wheels. This translates to 150 per rear wheel. Since an EVO is awd, you would have to put down 600 at the wheels (150 for each wheel) to see this type of an issue.
