Bride Seats

Do I have to buy new seat rails to use these seats? My friend and I wanna swap his Bride BrixII seats for my Recaros for fun. Also if I do where can I get some, any suggestions?

One moree thing! He has aftermarket seat rails for his wrx so will those work with my recaros? Thanks!

Richard

I'm not sure if he has the same bride seats that you have, but you can ask this guy:

kmxxbadboy

Here's a webpage with pics of his seats

hope this helps

Bride USA in S.Cal they can answer your questions.

I tried looking into lowering my Recaros and called them. The dealer wasn't sure if the rails they have will fit. So make sure you measure the bolt holes before calling them.

Have to be careful of the RMR seat rails. It will fit Sparco seats and maybe Bride. But it won't fit our stock Recaros. I've tried. Bought the seat rail and now sits in the garage....

"What I did was take the mounting hardware off the evo sliders. Then i took this bracket: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7975858197&fromMakeTra ck=true
I drilled holes in the bracket to line up with the holes on the stock evo sliders. Then I bolted it together. Then I bolted them in my car. I used this as a guide:http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showth...91704#poststop Let me know if you need any more info.

If any of you were interested in the Recaro-2-WRX.

you need the Bride rails....good thing is they are not super expensive (about $165 a side), and unlike most other companies, they fit perfectly, and come preassembled

I would definitely recommend getting the rails from Bride. You figure you're going to spend that much on the seats only to shortchange on the rails. Do it right the first time around and use the Bride rails and be headache free.

uhm... there's a few things you needa consider first the seat is bottom mount, that means you only need a bracket... but if you don't have sliders, you can't slide the seat. for side mount seats you'll need side mount brackets plus sliders if desired plus an adapter or some sort, fabricated or otherwise to fit the widened mount stance into a slider/base bracket stance.

there is no seperate adapter from Bride - their bases come preassembled with base and slider so it literally bolts in. Not sure if anyone else's bases fit, but based on what other companies have put out over the years (name Wedge), the Bride's are the only ones I have used that fit perfectly, and since they already include the mounting hardware and sliders, it is a no brainer
