My car has been going down the drain lately...

Seems like no matter how much I do or what I do I'm having some sh!tty luck for the past month or so.

About a month ago I was changing lanes and some lady decided to come over in the lane and side swiped my car. She scratched my bumper, torn my fender, dented my finder, and scratched my CE-28N. There wasn't a police report cause the lasy moved her car out of traffic and the cop said he couldn't determine who was at fault.

Last Wed I was heading to work and was crossing a bridge going from Indiana to Kentucky. This bridge in notorious for traffic....stop and go traffic at that. Well I was coming to a stop and just happened to look in my mirror and seen a brand new Dodge Ram coming up. Instead of hitting the brakes he used my car to stop. Sat on teh bridge for about 2 hours waiting for a Louisville cop to write a ticket and then took myself to the hospital to see if anyhting was wrong with my back cause it started hurting after sitting there for a while. I checked out fine.

Yesterday I went to the bodyshop and got a estimate on both incidents. It camw out to be a grand total of almost $5000 in damage. My car needs a whole list of parts and a bunch of crap painted. My HKS carbon-ti is being replaced and maybe my whole other part of my exhaust. It rattles real bad as I slow down and didn't do that before I was rear ended.

Whie I was getting the estimate done, I noticed I had a screw in my rear tire. When I left I went a a reputable tire place close to my house to see if it was fixable cause it was close to the sidewall. The guy told me it was reapirable, but he was gonna have to take the tire off the rim. THis made me VERY nervous and I explained to him that the rim was $600 and I didn't want it scratched. He told me it was a reverse mounted tire and you just had to know what your doing. He knocked the bead off the tire and then proceeded to put the rim on the clamp to get the tire off the rim. After about 3 minutes of trying to get the machine to grab the rim he finally lifted it up and all I seen was scratches and dents in my wheel. After talking to the manager he told me that they would replace it, but I had to buy it and bring them a reciept showing the price. Not gonna happen....I'm not gonna spend my own money for something I didn't do. I'll be going back up there tomorrow to get a answer and go from there.

I wouldn't wish this kind of luck on anyone.....

I've been thinking that once I get my new rim I'm just gonna put my car back to looking 100% stock. That way I won't worry about it so much anymore. I'll take the wheels, c/f lip, and the black headlights off and call it a day.

Not sure yet, but it's a thought....

I didn't do anyhting from what I know of.

Yesterday leaving the tire place I was so pissed I was looking for the best tree to plow into.

That isn't all the bad things that has happened. That is just the bad things that has happened to my car. I've had 4or 5 people die that I knew in the last 3 months, I broke my cell phone, I backed my wifes car into someones car, some teenager hit my brick mailbox and destroyed it....along with her car, and since I was having such a bad couple weeks I decided to let off some steam and accelerate a little on the highway and got caught by a cop. I almost went to jail, but with my cousin being a cop kept me out. He said I was doing 120 mph in a 55 mph zone, but I wasn't going that fast. I went to court and all charges were dismissed and the wreckless driving charge was amended to careless driving so I could go to traffic school. I guess being almost 30 and never attending it helped me out.

For some reason I've never had good luck with cars. My ITR seemed to have something needing fixing, my B16 hatch always needed somehting and when I finally got it right and done I sold it, my 03' Cobra had problems the whole 5 months I owned it. I though I just had a yellow car curse (ITR and Cobra) so I got a different color. My EVO has been great mechanically, but cosmetically it's been a freaking nightmare for the past few months.
