If you talking about the pipe that runs into the top of the exhaust manifold, then yes and no. Its called SAS (Secondary Air System) and comes standard on all evos part the USDM evo. Basically on lift off, when the throttle closes, the SAS opens and directs some of the air back into the manifold, this is to try and keep the turbo spinning a wee bit but in reality, it doesnt make that much of a difference which is why a lot of owners just remove it
