Z-5 is not a swirl remover...it's a sealant like Z-2 that "should" mask some swirls, but I ahve yet to see that happen.

Z-PC is Sal's new actual abrasive polish...it works, but I don't really like it. It dusts like crazy and has a very small working time because of that; this in turn allows you to scratch the paint again (dust) and doens't allow you to create enough heat to level the clear coat. If you guys are after a true perfect paint job, get yourself a Porter Cable 7336 from Lowes, pads from www.exceldetail.com, and Optimum Polish/Compound. If anyone has any hardcore detailing questions, feel free to PM me and I can set you on route to a clean car .

a PC won't create heat...a rotary will...besides that, heat isn't necessary to polish a clear coat...

Yes, but these guys will ruin their ****ty Mitsu paint with a rotary (no experience+rotary= death)...hence why I said to get a DACP...and heat breakdowns abrasives, which do the actual polishing, thus heat is necessary. And trust me, if you move at about 1/2"-1" per second while poslihing with cutting pads and compounds like Menzerna Powergloss, you make heat to break down the polish.
