Is the Blitz BLM too bright?

People that have or had the Blitz BLM 60mm gauges...are they too bright at night?

I currently have the HKS DB gauge, and I made the mistake of purchasing the white face gauge too. I drive a lot in the countryside with no street lights outside, and my gauge is like a flashlight in my face, it's hard to see outside. If I lived in the city, I wouldn't have any trouble with my gauge.

So is the Blitz a bit too busy/annoying/bright?

thanks for your input...and oh yeah, if you have a real night time shot of it, not the Blitz promotional shot of the gauge, please post. i've only found blurry shots on EvoM so far which doesn't help.

thanks

the night pictures are about 1/4 down the page. you can always hook up the gauges to a dimmer switch.

I care, b/c I can't see out my car. It's like driving with no roadlights outside and having your lights on inside the car...added to it is that fact, there's deer everywhere around where I live...I see 2 new dead deers on the road everyday, and I have a 40 minute drive each way to work.

give it a try...

like what I said, if I lived in the city...I wouldn't give a damn how bright it is b/c the city is well lit.

alright man it's cool, that's the thing with internet, dont' know if someone's being sarcastic...etc...

plus ppl on here dont' read entire post, they just read the 1st two lines and think they got the jist of it...

I saw the pics, they look awesome, but I think it's a bit on the bright side...comparing that to the radio/clock/stock gauge cluster lights...I know, can't compare b/c those are really dim, but i think it's still too bright...

had a boost gauge before, i miss it cuz IMO, the BLM are the SICKEST looking gauges ever (note i said LOOKING not best working). Im not bashing on it, it read pretty ok but it wasnt sh*t compared to my Defi gauge. But its still a quaity gauge and not too bright at all IMO
