hey guys i just want to let you guys know that i bought a street concept cwest bumper and they don't fit. i understand that bodykits don't fit 100% but when i bought it from them, there was a big gap between the lights and bumper i mean a good 1/2 inch both sides. chips and unevenness that it cost me more money for the painter to fix it(he's my good friend but business is business, right?) time and effort and still, the gap was still too obvious. the eye lids doesn't fit either. and if u try to install them, it would probably break where the bolts are. and also it's not even straight, it waves all the way through the fenders. and after i made the complaint they responded and asked what is the color of the bumper getting painted, but after that, no actions was made and no followup responds. my car is been sitting in the lot right now for a week now. i'm so depressed that i don't want to drive my car, in fact i don't even want to look at my car. some guys bought kits from them and said it's a perfect fit, well good for them, but i guess that i got the defective ones.returning them would cost me more money on shipping so it's pointless. i'm not here to destroy streetconcepts reputation but i just want to let you guys know that watch what you buy. and hope that you guys would understand my situation right now. i'm not suggesting you guys not to buy from them but i hope, until they fix my problem

 

one more time. There is nothing wrong with your bumper. You got what you wanted. A cheap bumper at a cheap price. If you bought a knock-off Rolex in Mexico, would you complain if it quit working like a real one in a week??? No......Same thing here. Throw it away and spend your money on a real one and when you tell people, " i got a CWEST Bumper" you can actually be proud of it. Most people i know wouldnt say" Check out my cheap a$$ imitation CWEST bumper that fits like A$$!!"

Did you try to sort things out with the vendor first? I thought streetconcepts stands behind their products if you contact them about the concern.

When its down to quality-wise it is always hard to say. I can say perfect but the other might say bad. I’m totally understand that problem, but we will take care of this problem, just pick up the phone and call us.

i dont understand why street concepts cant design their own bumper and not rip off someones elses design. Man, what ever happend to originality. If vendors were on here selling pirated videos or cd's, i bet the owners of this board would stop it in a heartbeat, yet when someone clones Greddy turbo timers or c-west products, nothing is done....things that make you go hhhhmmmmmmmmmm.....................i think it was a very prominate vendor on here that started a thread about cheap chinese knock-offs killing this market.....they were so right...............

give the guy a break...even originals can warp and not fit perfectly...he said he contacted them and they didnt get back to him...and look, this thread has got their attention...he didnt flame or put them down...just expressed his disappointment in the fitment....

anyways...i hope they take care of it for you...but since your body guy alrady tried to modify it, it would be tough to take it back...
