The only reason I am contemplating this is because my car is BBY and I have a whole blue/black theme going on, so I want to stick with it and a big shiny FMIC would not flow well with the theme.

dunno if it was mentioned before but...

imho... your best option for an intercooler is Swaintech BBE Coating... it's not flat black but it's black and improving efficiency...

do not paint it.
specially black.
any layer you put it on, it makes harder to cool the air down in side the FMIC.You will have oil inside your FMIC avantully so why make it even more harder to cool it?
The color black is just, well for cooling surface???

sleeper evo???

and anyone who tell me no difference between black and silver...
i would like to walk with you in 100+ F in any sunny day,you will be in black t-shirt , black pants and for me the aluminium silver is fine

Um sleeper? No. If you want a sleeper you guy an early 90s Galant VR4. An EVO is not a sleeper, period.
