Seibon...PERIOD. I've had bad luck with VIS for years, and from what I've seen and heard, SC fitment and weave isn't the best.

I have both Seibon hood/trunk, and they are beautiful. Hood has even gaps all around, fits nicely, and was a easy install. Trunk is the same way.

Just a heads up: REMOVE the trunk springs when you install a C/F trunk, or you'll be launching your trunk over your car!

Seibon and VIS finish will be better (more shine & deep gloos) but fitment wise streetconcept trunk will be better than this two company + cheaper.
Never buy VIS trunk for the evo, fits like crap.

Street C... never saw one in person, but can't beat the price.I'm pretty sure one day their products will be perfect since they always redo when it doesn't fit 99.9%. Also some of their product are 100% refund.

But I had to get Trunk and Hood, I will go with Seibon for Quality/Price.

i ordered the EVO IX rear bumper from accolade last night...the body shop i want to do the work can't do it till after the 1st though, because they are so backed up. i'm getting the license plate holes on the front bumper filled, roof and VG painted black to match the hood and trunk, and the hood and trunk both recleared in a satin finish. mainly because i don't trust the coat that comes on these things, and because i like the look of dry carbon better...im not big on bling bling... hopefully i can come out of this only spending 2500 total...if so i'll go ahead and order my BC racing specs, and the Advan RG II's...then the exterior of the car will be done and i can start with the engine stuff.

a) street concepts is like buying APC as far as i'm concerned!
b) i had a vis cf hood and trunk on my evo, both lighter that stock, but not by much! quality is ok at best....
c) seibon make nice stuff, i had their cf hood and trunk on my sti.. some improfections were noticeable.. quality is better than vis!
d) VARIS.... your quest is over! varis is without a doubt the highest quality cf i've ever seen... i just put their hood on my evo and it's ridiculous... so much lighter that seibon or vis it's not even funny! R-E-T-A-R-D-E-D people... not one imperfection!!! pricey... but you get what you pay for......i plan on getting their trunk as soon a possible.
