Yeah, go with Varis, Its very light. Me personally would go with AAR. They are super light.
Stock trunk is 21 pounds AAR is 5.8 pounds, The stock hood is 17.6 pounds and AAR is 9.4 pounds. Varis is cheaper(still not cheap) But is a little heavier.

Ok, here are the weight of different hoods and trunks.

Stock hood: 17.6 pounds
Stock trunk: 21.0 pounds

Varis hood: 13 pounds
Varis trunk: 8.6 pounds

AAR hood: 9.4 pounds
AAR trunk 5.8 pounds

AAR is the ****...dry carbon...very expensive. more than im looking to spend on a hood and trunk.

Monster sport. all the way. id say monster sport makes one of the lightest hoods ever made. so i could only imagine the trunk would also be. -= ) monster monster

I just got a used seibon trunk and the weight on my scale is 13.6 lbs.
but, I trimmed it down to 10.2 lbs yesterday.
