CF HOOD and TRUNK...Seibon, VIS, or StreetConcepts???
i'm looking for a carbon fiber hood, and trunk. i'll be ordering today, or tomorrow. which manufacturer should i go with, and why? which is the lightest, best quality? i know StreetConcepts can get me the best price, but is their quality as good as the other two? they say theirs is the lightest as well. does anyone know if that's true? which one would you guys go with, and why? thanks.

I have seen both seibon and vis, both are good, its up to you whether you want a great looking weave (seibon) or a good looking weave thats lighter (VIS), my vote goes for seibon as if you are really concerned about weight you wont' even be thinking about a CF hood.
I like my VIS trunk, though I have to admit that the weave is noticeably flawed in a prominent area. Fitment was good though and I like the fact that none of the holes were predrilled including the trunk lock.
If you've got a non-dry, fiberglass understructure (99% of the ones out there) CF hood on your evo, you're a stroke. End of story. And this is coming from a guy with a cf hood on my gsx.
