Want a good CBV, get the Forge piece, or JDM MR metal one. Loud open cbvs will do nothing but hurt your performance.

Have the passenger in your car put his hand in his armpit, and "fart" when you shift! practice syncronizing that, and spend the money elsewhere!

Listen to "us" who have been there, done that, bought that" and you will thank us later!

You have to get that tuned, the ECU is looking for the volume of air in that "BOX", the cones bring in air in all directions as opposed to the intake vent on the stocker. You can lose HP, if you put the cone on it without a FLASHED ECU, or a dynotune.

Next question.

Jesus Christ........

You don't need a BOV and you don't need an intake. The first thing you should buy is an exhaust. it will give realy power gains, doesn't _have_ to be tuned for and will not cause problems.

An intake will need a tune and a bov will just cause problems and neither will give any noticeable benefit. Don't waste your money.

And PLEASE, for the love of god, search next time. There are literally hundreds of threads with the exact same subject, a lot of which have the exact same title which have the answers to your questions.

I have a blitz "cone" and intake pipe sitting in the garage, but wont/need to put it on now, as I am not ready to tune it yet. I HAD the upper IC pipe/RMR intake/RMR cone filter, but tossed them for the stocker. The stock box can hold up to 575AWHP. just get in a drop in k&N filter, you can still hear the whoosh! and your drivability wont suffer!

ok here you go buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUNAM...QQcmdZViewItem

you will have about $100 left, then go to a sporting good store buy a bat.....then repeatedly smack yourself over the head with the bat

You will have solved the BOV sound "necessity" and actually have some cash to spare!

JDM MR is the only BOV worth upgrading to...just holds PSI better than stock.

Turbosmart is a good one thats reasonable loud, but expect the common problems with an aftermarket BOV: stalling, cutting off, etc....

Forge is good; probably best bang for the buck...
