You know, I've resigned myself to the fact that some people just want a loudass BOV. What can you do? At least they actually have a turbo and a fast car, and not just

I mean if there are tuning problems with it, oh well. It's not like there's a shortage of info and debate on the subject. Just ignore the threads that say "Help! Put on VTA BOV no tuning, STALLING???"

and if i were to get the greddy type s bov,(because my friend was saying it was a good one to buy) would i only have to purchase the BOV itself and not any other accesories.
only thing u need is the flange and that's it. The greddy requires no other accessories or attatchments, though u might wnat to research the single spring mod which is a easy mod and requires no money

...i told u u were gonna need a flame suit for this thread of yours..

we were all once a noob like I stated so it's not really cool to do this to him..just research/read/learn...that's how it all starts..oh and experimenting is always a good 1 as well. Experimenting with a BOV isnt gonna harm much if anything (people say the 02 sensor due to it running rich, but that's not something that happens overnight). Experiment and have fun. Get the Greddy. You wont ever need another BOV ever again take it from me...i've owned an HKS SSQV, Forge BOV, MR DV, Greddy Type S..the MR DV is nice as well because its OEM, but for aftermarket=GREDDY

as for the stock Bypass valve comment, i'd have to agree and disagree....

The stock bypass valve tends to leak at the slightest raise in boost pressure with some owners...there is a "screw" mod that helps it hold more boost. I doubt the bypass valve can hold as much boost as the stock turbo is capable of (24psi range). The thing is made of plastic. Also makes you wonder why the Evo9 is equipped with a metal BOV rather than the plastic one..because mitsu knows the plastic piece is not gonna make it too far esp with the newer turbo model on there...
