It turns the intercooler into a popsicle in about three seconds. That stuff is COLD!!
The 20oz Bottle fits perfect in the glove box. And unlike most intercooler sprayers this one sprays the whole intercooler. I put the soda can in the pics for size reference.
I am going to run some tests and trials with some temp sensors, before and after intercooler. I think I will get some good results. I will take some more pics with it installed, and a quick video of it working.
I only plan on using it at the track. The charge in the bottle lasts a pretty long time.
All the parts cost me about 60 dollars.
Alot better than spending 400 dollars for a small aftermarket sprayer.
Enjoy.
Maybe I do have too much time on my hands.

Bad idea homie , its been proven that when you spray your IC some will get sucked up by the intake . Co2 has the oppsite effect of No2 .

Oh, and keep in mind that the state of CO2 exiting the bottle is determined by the position of the bottle and the type of valve that is built into the bottle. When it is upside down, you may get straight liquid, which is VERY cold. Conversely, you may position it where you get straight vapor, which is not as cold. (but still cold) The liquid draw will empty the bottle much quicker than the vapor draw. Either way, the bottle will get cold and possibly frost over during this process, so make sure there is nothing in your glovebox that can't take freezing or moisture.

and completely off topic but:

superscout, a friend of mine tried the same home made setup like yours, and all it did was make the car stall out. The vapors from the CO2 were actually getting sucked into the intake track. Not saying it won't work for you, but it may be an issue.

Then it vented for 2 minutes and you couldn't touch the bottle, or anything around it until all of the frost melted off. A full 20oz CO2 bottle has nearly the energy potential of a stick of dynamite. Without that burst disk, it will explode violently. Find a video of someone shooting one and imagine that inside your car. It could easily kill you.
And that is not where the gas is drained before a refill, we just let it out of the main valve. It's much simpler, and a bigger opening for faster flow/transfer.

Dynamite explodes around 9-12psi. A tire blew up on me when I was managing a tire shop and it damn near knocked me unconscious at 50psi. I can't imagine what 1500 psi or whatever the hell you inflate these things to, would do to a glove box, let alone the driver. If anyone has a spare tank and a junker car, put a full bottle into the glove box in the middle of the summer. Mwuahahahahah.
I play D-1 paintball, i dont use co2 by n2, BUT, that burst disk will save your life. Your plastic dashboard wont stop a1000PSI backed peices of metal. Put a NEW burst disk in and maybe pick one of these up, or similar..

You can screw the bottle in on top to that, theres a knob you turn to allow pressure to flow and to turn it "off"... just a little help
