I appriciate the comments guys,
I am currently in the process of doing the area around the shifter, And I might end up actually doing the instrument cluster shroud. Oh and the Bezel around the center part on the steering wheel. And I think that will finish the interior up.

This is the first painted dash that I have EVER liked. You did a fantastic job. What equipment did you use to apply it?

IMO, to do a piano black paintjob on a panel that size, you'd best use a professional sprayer. Canned paint will not apply evenly or provide a smooth gloss black finish. I've been looking at doing this as i mentioned in another thread since i bought the car since i think the fake carbon fiber looks cheap and crappy.

I used Duplicolor canned lacquer paint. The first three coats were a flat black lacquer, and the last three coats were a a high gloss clear Lacquer. After it was done It was heat treated to make the paint as hard as a diamond. And then the long process of 2000 grit and miltiple wet polishes bring out the extremely smooth and shiny surface. Its all in how you polish it. It is a must that you heat dry the paint. If done correctly it comes out looking as you see here. If you are a patient individual this is easy to accomplish. But you need to prep the surface very well at first. When painting you should remember this phrase "Maximum coverage minimum Mil" That means to apply thin coats one at a time and making sure your coats are uniform. And when the painting is done you dont want it super thick. You have to get it just right.
