I have Seibon hood and seibon evo trunk on my lancer. Of course they dont fit like stock but the quality is great and I had no fitting issues with either of them. Evodaves trunk is the best ive ever seen tho. wich I woulda known about it before i bought the seibon.

So I removed the rear seat backs, then removed the rear deck lid, then unbolted the two 10mm bolts holding the trunk swing arm from the top and put washers inbetween the bottom of the rear deck lid and the physical deck lid. So, the washers go on the inside of the trunk. Thus making the trunk sit lower that what it did.

The main thing to be careful is how many washers you use and the stock bolt length...

Fits perfect now and matches oem fittment...
My Seibon carbon fiber trunk fits wierd. When I go to close it, it takes like 10+ times of slamming it shut to close it before it will latch. I actually climbed in the trunk with a flashlight and noticed that it was barely latching at the end of the hook thing in the bottom of the trunk. I have tried adjusting it like everyway I could. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? thanks.

The C-West Hood and Trunk have perfect fitment, as well as Gialla, GarageHRS (which is coming to the states as we speak), Monster Sport, even Chargespeed fits very nicely. Once you get into Seibon and VIS thats when you get fading problems, fitment issues, and cracking.

Finished up the VIS hood install tonight... I had to do a little grinding and drill one hole to make the stock grill fit.. the supplied grill is 100% ricer but it turned out nice. I also had to add a few holes underneath to put the heat deflect stuff back on from the oem hood... just some quick shots nothing special...

The rest of the car is dirty and yes I know I need to repaint the emblem

The trunk tomorrow.. if you guys are interested

I'm going to put like 57 coats of zaino on these to help prevent fading.

you need to put thick washers to raise the latch.
Anyway, now my seibon trunk has cracking and fading problems. oh well... I didn't expect to last long anyway.
