The Momo shift knobs attach to the shift lever differently than stock. The little ring at the bottom screws off and you sort of clamp the knob down with hex screws and then screw the ring back up to cover them up. It's kind of a pain to put in if you ask me, however, that shift knob WILL fit an Evo.

It may or may not fit, I try some MOMO shift knob on my IX and did not fit ! its not the shaft diameter, its the total length of the MOMO shift knob too long !! But the one you show here is shorter than my MOMO, so if you can take off your stock shift knob and measure the length from top of the shaft to top of the shift boot and compare with the MOMO shift knob. If the MOMO is shorter or equal or a bit longer(no more than 1/3 inch), than it can fit, otherwise like my MOMO is too long !

Yes, all the hardware, including the hex wrench, should be included if you're buying the shift knob new.

To remove the stock shift knob just grab ahold of it and turn it counter-clockwise.

The thread on your gear lever is an M10x1.25. If the knob has the same thread, it will work.

p.s. if it comes with a sticker to go on top of the shift knob, please stick it on AFTER you've screwed on the shift knob.

Not really good. Got rear ended last week.
I'm not into performance yet, so I can't answer that. You can ask Billy bout the cam install. He just got his installed.

Most, if not all, Momo knobs attach to the lever by using set screws and rubber inserts for the lever. I had the Air Race leather/metal one that was great. Perfect diameter and nicely made. The only problem with it was that after awhile, it got somewhat loose and you would have to retighten every so often.

I'm sticking to my Greddy counterweight for now, until I find a better one.

If you use the stock boot, the bottom "hat" will not work on momo knobs. That said, they still look good even without the lower hat.

most shift knobs are universal, i would think it would fit. but if you try changing the shift boot be warned. i changed my stock black shift boot with a momo alacantra blue one in my car and there was extensive moding to get it to fit right.
