The front end took a beating this winter with all the cinders on the roads. I got nicks and chips everywhere. But the IC grill is bothering me most. The cinders kinda blasted off a lot of the black paint and it looks like ****.

What kind of paint should I use that will hold up for a while?

black permanent marker.

 

Tried it. Its gone as soon as it rains.

 

there's the black paint from spray can...can't remember the name, but it's for spraying engine compartments so it should be able to take a beating and heat...

the same stuff people use to repaint their hood vents
