my rota torques-mismatched?

I just recieved my order for rota torques in hyperblack and I believe they are of different color. Ive only seen these under the lights in my garage until today when I wanted to take some pics. Im waiting for a reply from the vendor but Im not sure how they'll respond.

Anyone know how vendors deal with a situation like this? Any advice is appreciated.

here they are:

i don't think that's uncommon. rota is not exactly a top of the line company. back when i was in the honda scene, some guy tried to swap me slipstreams in steel grey, which was an awesome color. but when i looked closely, one of the wheels was a similarly lighter than the rest. those rims probably were not from the same batch when they painted em.

what he said.

I took off three wheels and placed them side by side. The color shade looks almost the same. What I noticed, however, is that even a slight change in angle will make one wheel appear darker. Cool effect but had me wondering...
I guess idiots can learn too; the hard way.

I tried to capture the change in color from an angle but it didn't translate very well with my digi cam.

btw, for future reference, rays extended lug nuts will fit these wheels but a standard lug nut wrench size (i.e. the one put in your trunk) will not have enough room to seat on the lugnut. I used a torque wrench with regular socket. (again, learned the hard way)

I had these wheels on my car also, you're right, they do look different at different angles, I kinda like that effect. They should all be the same shade though.

Do you have more pictures of the car?

Can we use them in our gallery?

mine came in two colors: hyperblack and bronze. The two colors are already dark so it's hard to tell if you mount them. The brake dust helps a lot too.
