I would have done some nice rims before a lambo door kit, you might get more positive remarks if you had some bad *** wheels to go along with it, +1 on coupes should be the only cars with lambo doors, some freak near me has them on his escalade

Yeah I saw them on a F150 around here. Are those things safe if there is a side collison will they fall off and compromise the safety of the car. Just wondering.

I agree that I would have gotten "more positive remarks" if I had rims, but then again, each have their own opinion about the right color and design..offset.

When I get my rims, I am going to be 110% happy with them. I do not want to be dissapointed AT ALL with my selection. As of yet, I haven't seen any that I REALLY REALLY like. I have been searching...thanks for looking.

I'm not 100% sure about the technical crash test ratings, but they are a direct bolt on to the factory locations and actually are much larger than the factory hinge. They used 'lock tight' so they should be nice and sturdy, but anytime you change anything, you risk not securing it properly. The bolts were also larger to compensate for the weight I suppose. I had them professionally installed and plan on taking the necessary precautions.

The door would become misaligned before it would be an issue in a crash.

One of the best questions yet! Thanks for looking!

Even though I am not a fan of the lambo doors I admire any mod done right and from what I can see it is done right. Do you have a picture of the hinge I have always wondered how exactly it all works. Good luck with the future mods.

Poor evo....

I'm in a need for a good laugh. Do you have any photos of the car at night with your street glow neons shining from under the car?

Tony,

I will get you a picture, if the thread is closed, I will pm you it. I didn't personally take a picture, but I should be able to get one for you.

Are you saying that tail lights no longer function if they have a clear instead of red acrylic cover? They are definately not rice.

So you just did this to get attention? Or what were you trying to achieve? J/W

For the forum? -
To show people what these doors look like on an EVO. Informational I suppose.

For my car:

Because I wanted to and it's an overall design thing. Attention is always good in a design.

That's cool man. Whatever makes you happy. Actually I was telling my friend how they would be nice in a tight garage or parking spaces just today...less risk of dings.

If anyone lives in fresno PLEASE burn/ explode/ destroy his car.

Sometimes you need to sacrifice one so you dont infect the rest of the breed.

I don't know about you guys, but this could easily be considered a threat by any means of the law internet or not. You are walking a thin line my friend and I would consider editing that statement.
