HID not the color I expected NEW PICS

Hey guys I was wondering, does the the color of the HID depend of how many volts you are running? I have 10000K HID's and they are not that blue, they are more white. Any help? thanks guys

Here are some pics!! They look blue here but they are really whitish blue in real life.

CHECK OUT THE LED ON MY TAILS!

Get rid of them and get some 6k or even 5400. The higher the kelvin rating the less light output. If you want quality light ouput, 10k is not good. If you just bought them for the purple/blue color, well then that's on you.....

did you actually buy HIDs with ballasts and ignitors or did you get the "10,000K HID" bulbs...basically colored halogens?

if they're authentic 10k HID's, take it back....the color is terrible and not that visible on the road. the highest you'd want to ge is 6k. nice and whitish-blue. if they're the non HID colored bulbs that come in that small package, oh boy.........

^^^ hmm.... thats how my 6000k bulbs look. They're Sylvania Osram Xenarc bulbs. Top quality!

6000k bulbs should be very white with a tinge of blue/purple to them. Anything higher is pointless and causes less visability.

Are they actually HIDs? Or "HID" Bulbs? Did the kit come with ballasts and ignitors, or just bulbs.

Who makes the ballasts and who makes the bulbs. And, did you do a proper burn-in?
