Why oh why is it a pain in the butt to get these guys out in the engine bay fusebox? First, when you try to pull the fuse sleeve that hold the fuses they will not fully pull out. You would have the expand the bottom part of the sleeve...but wait, before you do, you would have to fully remove the ECU/fuse in the engine bay fusebox to get to the bottom sleeve holding the 10A fuses, THEN pull it out. But it doesn't stop there. Now you have to physically remove the fuses from the fuse holder..a royal PITA. BTW, I have the 2005 GSR and couldn't find the interior fuse box if you were wondering. I am not too sure if there should be. I did a search function and found them on the '03s but not 05s. Maybe a redesign? Anyways, thought this would be informative to other EVO owners.

 

I simply used a small pair of needle nose plyers to spread the retaining clips which hold the fuse in there and then slid the fuse puller to grab and pull out the fuse. Took about 1 minute.

damn you andrew...took me 30 minutes before I tapped out and had to get needle nose pliers. For one thing, I don't know why those fuses are so special to be placed in the fuse sleeves.

 

oh yea getting those fuses outa the engine bay fuse box is a big pain.
