Why even spend the money on the Ralliart hood panel when....
Well, what I did was get some paint stripper and stripped the black paint off of my hood vent panel....I figured why pay $179+ shipping for a Ralliart Hood Panel??

Nice turbo. What is that a white rabbit?
Just kidding. I cleaned and repainted mine black. Then I just got bored and removed the damn thing. I would strip it if I had a bright color EVO. On black I don't like the siver look. Look like you did a great job on yours. congrats.

Or you can just wait a couple of years... my paint wore right off by itself. I repainted it black, though...
for Cali2mdevo8 - I didn't really like it on silver because it contrasts too much with the hood, 2 different silvers kind of clashed (sounds a little gay, I know). Although I guess the intercooler and wheels do to...

Looks Real good, My friends did the same thing, He put a RalliArt sticker and then below it in really tiny print it says not really, Its funny, You going to take it off when you get the kit it? Either way looks real good with the yellow.

My black paint started to wear off, so I just spray painted it with some silver paint. It's held up better than the stock spray and all I did to prep it was wash & dry it.

I was considering a Ralliart sticker too, or even making a template and spraypainting it on but I'll just leave it bare silver.....
Once the AMS Kit goes on I'll probably take the hood panel off If I go to a car show....otherwise it'll stay on...
In addition being that the panel is bare silver, it kinda matches up with my polished BR Race FMIC.
My next appearance mod will be a CF DO-Luck lip
