Uk Badges...

Has anybody tried these Ebay UK emblems....

link

I know the ones that have been on there in the past were not authentic looking at all and weren't as pictured. These look pretty good from the pictures.

I've seen on here people who have purchased ones from ebay that look right in the picture on ebay, but then when they get them they are the crappy knockoff ones

That's why I was hoping this particular series of auctions might not be like that. The auctions with the "fake" badges are still up though, those are the ones people were complaining about.

you should tell him to take a pic of it next to some random item, like a loaf of bread. That way you know the pic is from him and his actual item. He'll probably say "why am I going to waste my time trying to prove it to you, either you want it or you don't"

they look good, but if you've got doubts just get the ones from lancershop.com. that's where i got my IX MR badge. i then sanded it and krylon'ed it black. it was worth the money/trouble tho

I did see that a little while ago. I had been thinking that that was the ones people were complaining about. I am asking about a different seller than them.

The seller claims these are aluminum. I thought the real and the other ebay ones were plastic?

I'm thinking that's going to be a PAIN to get on. The real one comes stuck onto that plastic thing and that makes it easy.

it took me 15 minutes total. im pretty sure it takes that long to put on the standard one. all you have to do is make sure that you have the stencil utility lines up so that nothing will be crooked and then all you do is place the letters within the box and your fine everything is good to go.

I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. I'll let you know how these turn out. Hopefully they come with a stencil like electr0 was talking about
