This is actually a mk3 jetta thule rack. Fits great, with a custom made 20$ fairing.

I will definitely be posting pictures. The thing is I will be using prepreg. carbon fiber and an autoclave. Which most people do not have access to. I could probably sell some.

I just bought the towers and fit kit from Thule for my evo but it doesn't fit.

Has anyone had this problem with the thule stuff?

I got the 480 Towers, 1239 fit kit and the 50" load bars.

It doesn't fit under the weather stripping on the roof like I have seen on here and its not long enough to fit on the door pillar.

I thought my kit would be like the one here:

the kit in that picture is actually the 400xt towers.

im using the same 480 towers, 1239 fit kit, and LB50's you have.

this is how it should look. they mount on the pillars instead of the roof.

I like the 44" fairing so much more than the 36? 38?". It just fills out the car on top.

Edit: Sorry just realized this is the pre-Evo X forum.

I'm debating on trading in my Subaru for an X. Is there an integrated roof rack for the X? Not the ones that clip on the door. If not, that would be a bummer and might be a deal breaker. Below is my Subaru with the integrated type of rack I'm talking about.
