3M proctective kit for front bumper

Would anyone happen to know if there is a 3M kit for an Evo IX front bumper. I travel some rough highways, and I am tired of rocks and stuff getting thrown on my bumper. If anyone has info, please let me know. Thanks

Check in with some Tint shops, and even some dealerships. They call it 3M clearguard. I forget the other names of it. Be prepared, a full bumper and front of the hood is quite pricey, but of course to save paint... There are other places that sell it online for you to do by yourself, but unless you're an expert, I wouldn't reccommend you try it yourself.

Starshield Armor makes a really good kit for the IX and they use 3M film in their kits. Their kits cover more of the front than most of the kits out there. They have installers all over the country, give them a call. There's a link below. Good Luck.

I had the 3M clear bra installed on my Rally Red Evo about 2 months ago and it was one of best decisions I made.

It blends in very well and is hardly noticable.

Check it out; it's barely noticable.

Find a good installer; that's the key.

It's something a DIY'er shouldn't attempt.

Check this link:

I believe that 99% of installers use 3M film for the clear bra. The only installer (I think) that does not use 3M is ArmorGlove.

Most good shops can do custom installs but it can be expensive.

I used X-Pel BTW.

Good luck.

I agree. Finding a competent installer is the key. I found my info and had these guys do the custom clear bra on my EVo. www.premiermobilegroup.com They are supposed the best, well known guys among Ferrari and Porshe owners. Definitely do get recommendations from other owners.

Check here to look for an installer in your area. I charge $650 for a full kit in the Baltimore/DC area, just for reference.

I had mine done in Mass. It had to be a hand done custom job cuz of the DAMD front end. They also did the front 1/3 of the hood and the back of the mirrors. It was $840.
I am very happy with it also. I have custom paint job worth $9000. So it was a no brainer for me.
