I saw the brembos at the "local shop" over the weekend. Talk about a presentation!!!! Seperate boxes for each side. They wraped each rotor in foam padding that sits int he middle, and with the caliper in it's own padded box and the hardware in another box.

I'm just afraid for this guy killing himself, that much horsepower DEMANDS respect. No more talking on the phone while driving Dean!

 

lol i know, those damn blue tooth ear pieces work like 1/4 of the time, most of the time people cant hear you.... i just cant find a solution, the Razr has no plug for standard ear piece and speakerphones suck... but i agree the phone hurts driving performance alot especially with manual trans... i can stop fast though lolol

The fact that you dont think its is ricey, makes it even more rice. And im sorry but i find it hard to believe that this guy spent thousands on aerodynamics just to improve his downforce slightly at high speeds. And why would you choose that color? The carbon fiber trunk? Your not even saving much weight there, same with the two tone hood, it actually weighs slightly more. I think the look of all the aerodynamics on this car; ie big body kit and wing, are what makes it rice. Its the fact that evo owners don't admit it just because its an evo is what makes people think "rice".

 

Man... Don't hate on someone's paint job... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. He probably found that color to be not "taken" by any other shop evo in the U.S. and ran with it.

It is hard to believe because you don't like how it looks... There fore you deem it "Rice". But because you know what you are looking at... Your ignorance previals as quoted in your statment above...

The ammount of down force produce by the parts on this kit is unbelieveable. Also the ammound of parachute effect minimized by the rear bumper is almost like running no bumper at all! Those thousands of dollars spent for aerodynamics are put to good use to improve more than "slightly" at any speed above 60mph.

This is great for the track cause where you would be applying the brakes he will just be off the throttle or in most cases at partial or full throttle. So when in that application the competition would be seen in a rear view mirror ie you.

Like most people in this forum you are miss informed on the dynamics of this kit. The trunk from Varis is a beautyful piece that is almost 3lbs lighter than stock WITH their carbon wing attached to it. No one can really say that about the stock (Trunk + Wing) setup or anything offered by ANY U.S. based companies.

Again the Varis Carbon hood makes the stock look like a super heavy weight on the scales.

the term "Rice" is so ignorant. When I think of "Rice" I think of the 1995 automatic honda accords with some bobo wheels, exhaust tip, and Aluminum GT wing and stickers on the side with tinted windows.

If something is race breed and more functional than stock parts... How can that be "Rice"???

This guy is going to have one very dominating car if he were to take it to shows, circuits, or drag strips.
