It is hard to believe because you don't like how it looks... There fore you deem it "Rice". But because you know what you are looking at... Your ignorance previals as quoted in your statment above...
The ammount of down force produce by the parts on this kit is unbelieveable. Also the ammound of parachute effect minimized by the rear bumper is almost like running no bumper at all! Those thousands of dollars spent for aerodynamics are put to good use to improve more than "slightly" at any speed above 60mph.
This is great for the track cause where you would be applying the brakes he will just be off the throttle or in most cases at partial or full throttle. So when in that application the competition would be seen in a rear view mirror ie you.
Like most people in this forum you are miss informed on the dynamics of this kit. The trunk from Varis is a beautyful piece that is almost 3lbs lighter than stock WITH their carbon wing attached to it. No one can really say that about the stock (Trunk + Wing) setup or anything offered by ANY U.S. based companies.
Again the Varis Carbon hood makes the stock look like a super heavy weight on the scales.
the term "Rice" is so ignorant. When I think of "Rice" I think of the 1995 automatic honda accords with some bobo wheels, exhaust tip, and Aluminum GT wing and stickers on the side with tinted windows.
If something is race breed and more functional than stock parts... How can that be "Rice"???
This guy is going to have one very dominating car if he were to take it to shows, circuits, or drag strips.

Yes, your exactly right. Unfortunatly the reason he bought this kit was not for any of those reasons. If that were the case I don't think he would have a 2.0/gt40 setup. He bought the kit so he looks cool racing civics on the highway.
That is a drag racing setup, and because this kit is functional, it's going to do it's job well and slow him down on the back half of the strip. I would have thought someone with any sense would have pointed this out already. I guess not...By the way, WTF were you thinking getting the gt40 with a .68 a/r housing?
Your going to have major back preasure issues at high boost. I think you would have been better off getting the .85 from Garrett, or .82 (I believe) from Precision.
Good luck with your car, but don't kid yourself, you didn't buy this kit for its rich racing heritage.

Ive ridden in the silver one and yes its fast, and yes he can drive. Also i think you kinda need to see the racecar in person to appreciate it. Most peoples houses on this forum (myself included) would fit inside this guys shop. Not to mention hes a die hard Evo fan.

especially with the 2.0L gt40, I know that's my ideal track setup...
