Easy solution!!!

The best stuff is liquid glass pre-cleaner. Allk u have to do is put some on a cloth, wipe it across the stain and it comes right off. You do not have to let dry or press hard. I bought some at Pep Boys. Here is a link to see what the bottle looks like.

I have an Apex Silver Evo 8 and have the same problem staining the bumper area surrounding the exhaust tip. The easiest way for me to clean it off was to use a dab of wax, let it dry and watch it all go away....never had a problem using this method. Barely any elbow grease required.[/QUOTE]

Yeah this works for me too. I use Zymol Cleaner Polish. I don't even need to let the Zymol dry before wiping it off.

I used Mcquire's Cleaner Wax.. cleans it right off...
Then I spray on some Dupicolor's shield.. not sure how it will work with exhaust's high temp.
Will report back.

This is all you need right here:

Please do not use nail polish remover, degreaser, or anything like that! It is not that hard to use Meguiars Step1 (paint cleaner) to get it off. Then you can follow up with step 2 and 3 to make the exhaust residue less likely to stick. If the area is well polished and waxed, it won't get dirty as quickly.

Polish/Cleaner is your best friend in this situation. Save your elbow grease! Don't forget to apply a coat of wax/sealent after your done!!!

Only thing soapy sprays that require you to use some elbow grease are doing is leaving the paint naked so it's easier to stain and harder to clean.

kind of off the topic, but what do ya'll use for cleaning your wheels.

I have been using the soap and different sponge after I am done washing the car, but I want to use something to spray on their before hand to help ease my washing.

Is there is something I can use that is safe to help not having to spend a lot of time washing the wheels?

I only have 4000 miles on mine and cannot get the yellow out on the left side of the inside bumper next to the tip. I have tried nu-finish, clay bar, meg paint cleaner. Help. It makes me sick to look at it.
