Show me your roll cage......
Add in the price of quality swing-outs and it can be even more
I would do a full weld in cage and still in the making of doing one. Yet at the point in time i want to keep as much interior in tact as possible. Till i build the car more its fine.
Full weld in cages are not hard to do. But to do them right i would need to get my carpet out of the car, cut the dash up a bit and get the pillar covers removed.
Just not ready to go full weld in yet.

I think a cage like the one I made for the evo III weighs about 55-60 kg
This cage is made with CDS tubes aproved by fia. If it was made in the more expensive material T45(almost twice as strong as CDS) it could be made with thinner wall tubing and still be safe and aproved by fia. This would save about 10-12kg on a cage like this.
