I painted mine a flat black. Looks nice and makes that section stand out a little more.

I would leave the diffuser the stock grey. The color is perfectly matched with the grey in the Lancer Evo emblem and the wicker bill on the wing. Just my 3¢ …

WOW!, that's alot of answers for both sides, it would be hard to make up my mind based an you guys' help, so I think I came up with a game plan. Though it'll cost more in the long run, I think I'll leave the grey as it is, and if I don't like it, I'll have it painted black.

Also, just to add, with modification a crash bar can be made to fit using the stock bolt holes right? I don't know if anyone has done this, but I'm gonna ask my body shop ( which kicks major a$$) to see how much it would be to fab up one to fit. If anyone else is interested, let me know, cause once they do one, I'm sure they'll be able to replicate the process easily enough, and if there's profit in it for them, they might be more inclined ( I don't know if this is gonna go anywhere, I'm just asking to see if possible)

painting the diffuser black looks nice. i always thought the diffuser came flat black, i always learn something new everyday.
